Sledding Down the Steep Slopes

This past weekend I went sledding at Trailside Park, which by the way isn't steep at all. I went with  my sister and the four kids we were babysitting. When we got there I could already tell that it was going to be hot and wet. The hill was covered enough to go fast speeds but there was still blades of tall grass sticking out. The snow was  almost perfect for sledding, not to powdery and not to crispy. Our first runs were very unsuccessful, unfortunately I found out that the sled I had curved and dumped you out halfway down the hill. Another little boy forgot to hold, and another did a summersault. After a while everyone could  finally make it down the hill somewhat straight.  Soon enough everybody was to hot to stay in jackets, gloves, and hats. Right as they all took off their coats we all went together and crashed making everybody wet, and cold. My sister by then had found a new use of all the coats by making a bed for herself. After a long day of races, saucer spin competitions I was glad I went everyone was laughing and smiling so I new they had fun to. I had forgotten how much sledding could be!
Sorry I know this picture is pretty dorky.
